I did a little impulsive online shopping recently, and yesterday I received a yummy shipment of balsam fir from Maine for my effort… I’ve been sniffing it virtually scentless ever since…

I have this fascination with Maine… I have no idea why…I’ve never physically visited… at least in this particular lifetime…but I hope one day to retire there… even sight unseen…why not…no canasta on the lanai for me… just not my style…

Give me a cottage near water’s edge… air that’s so cold it stings…throw in a curmudgeonly old fisherman or two for neighbors and I’m there!

Time flies...I procrastinate...still

stacks of books in varying stages of half read and unread...

art projects and interior redesigns still just floating somewhere between my brain, my bulging clippings folders, my best intentions and actual completion...

maybe it's my less than stellar food choices of late...no energy to put into creative endeavors... it's difficult to run at full steam on a cinnamon bun...even with cream cheese icing...let that be a lesson...
