My boss just got back from his granddaughters' christening this weekend. Little lovely twin bundles of joy... dressed in beautiful christening gowns fashioned from fabric from their Mother's wedding gown. I thought that was so clever... the woman who designed her gown had leftover fabric. Then my mind wandered (not unusual) to those of us without access to a seamstress hoarding silk... Perhaps new christening gowns could still transform into modern heirlooms with a bit of lace from Grandmother's gown... a button from Mother's... the mind boggles... and yet... and yet...
We are six months into the year and there have been so many changes in the
world, some good and some not so good. I'm grateful to be still here and
stil...
